DEFIANCE has not really changed me. After being in the modeling industry and being photographed by Mr. Bruce Weber for Abercrombie & Fitch Summer 2006 campaign, I've learned to become comfortable in my own skin. Being nude is a unique experience and the results can be exciting. Comfort is a must; Ronald is always stringently professional and provides an environment that allows the model to fully express himself.
When shooting nude, it is OK to feel discomfort, feeling the cold air caressing your skin. The cold air leaves you feeling exposed, experiencing personal freedom. At least it does for me in certain occasions. Being in DEFIANCE, I felt free in self-expression.
DEFIANCE was a natural, but sexy interpretation of the male structure. The images are dark, but peaceful. I was exposed, but felt complete with trusting comfort.
